Larabars!

I hope you enjoyed the original Larabar recipe and the PB&J variation!

If you want even more flavors to create and enjoy, you've come to the right place!

I have made two more flavors for your tastebuds to enjoy- Apple Pie & Banana Bread! Happy Eating! :)

Apple Pie:
(Makes 2)

Ingredients:
-1/4 cup pecans
-1/4 cup dates
-10-15 apple chips (See apple chips recipe from a previous blog post)

Directions:

1. Place dates in food processor and process until finely chopped
2. Pour into bowl
3. Process pecans in food processor until fine
4. Add dates back to food processor
5. Add apple chips and slightly process (only until apple chips are desired sized pieces)



6. Remove from bowl and form into two bars

Nutritional Info: (1 Bar)














Banana Bread Larabar: (Makes 2 Bars)

Ingredients:
-1/4 cup walnuts
-1/4 cup dates
-1 tsp. vanilla
-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
-1 dried banana (Check out banana chips recipe on my blog!)


Directions:
-Same directions as with apple pie larabar, add the vanilla and cinnamon with the banana chips

As if taste wasn't enough motivation to make this recipe (or any recipe with cinnamon) - Cinnamon is great for your health! It lowers LDL Cholesterol, has an anti-clotting effect on the blood, may help regulate blood sugar, just to name a few of its health benefits!

Here are the two new larabar flavors-all wrapped up and ready to hit the frig until I'm ready to devour them!  ...Which won't be too long, I can hear them calling my name already!
